What InstaLinkr Does

InstaLinkr helps Instagram Business and Creator accounts send an approved private reply when someone comments a configured keyword on that account's own Instagram post or reel.

Instagram Data We Access

When an account owner connects Instagram, Meta may grant access to these permissions after App Review:

• instagram_basic: Instagram professional account ID and username, used to show which account is connected.
• instagram_manage_comments: comment webhook events and comment IDs, used to match comments against the account owner's configured campaign keywords.
• instagram_manage_messages: private replies and message delivery, used only to send the configured reply to the commenter.

Data We Store

We store account connection details, campaigns, matched comment metadata, delivery status, and email addresses that users voluntarily submit through a lead capture form.

How We Use Data

Data is used only to operate the comment-to-DM workflow, show campaign results to the connected account owner, troubleshoot delivery, and honor deletion requests. We do not sell Instagram data, share it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.

Data Retention

Campaigns and leads are kept until the account owner deletes them or deletes their account. Webhook events are stored only as minimal audit records needed to diagnose campaign delivery.

Security

Access tokens are stored server-side and are never exposed in the browser. Webhook signature verification is enabled when the Meta app secret is configured.

Deletion

Account owners can delete their account from the Settings page. Anyone can also request deletion through the data deletion page.
